Warden's Comment............

Session 1999-2000

As warden of Derby hall, I would like very much to welcome you as first year members of the largest mixed hall in Nottingham renowned for social activity. Along with Hall Tutors and in close collaboration with Jules and his committee, I am responsible for the Hall as a social and academic community within the University of Nottingham. It may be that I teach some of you in courses in the School of Geography. In any event, I am sure that I will meet and get to know many of you in the first few weeks of term.

A little word from the Pres.........

Hey, how are ya? Either you've been very lucky, or you've made an excellent choice. Whatever the reason it doesn't matter, you've now got the opportunity to have the greatest year of your life here at Derby Hall - the biggest and best mixed hall on campus.
There's so much on offer, whether it be sport, the social life or whatever, the total atmosphere in hall is rivalled by none. There's something for everyone, with loads of opportunities to get involved in everything throughout the hall.
